How Does The Hydraulic Expansion Unit Work?

HEU Hydraulic Expansion unit utilizes base machine’s hydraulic system as power source.

  1. Hydraulic oil flow is led to the unit through the pressure line
  2. The unit produces high-pressure water that is used for expanding rock bolts. The unit is connected to water supply for the operation.
  3. The unit monitors the expansion and releases the bolt automatically when the correct water pressure level is reached.
  4. The hydraulic oil is led back to carrier machine’s hydraulic oil tank through the return line
