How Does the Hydraulic Power Unit Work?

The Hydraulic Power Unit features either its own engine or an electric motor to drive the hydraulic pump and generate hydraulic power.

The hydraulic pump creates a hydraulic oil flow when the engine is running.
Hydraulic oil flow is directed to attached hydraulic equipment through the pressure line.
Hydraulic oil is returned to the unit’s hydraulic oil tank via the return line.

Hydraulic power source for rescue tools. Closed circuit hydraulic-to-hydraulic power unit. It delivers 800 bar (11600 psi), 2x5 l/min (2x1.3 U.S. gpm) of hydraulic power.
