How Does the Hydraulic Winch & Hydraulic Winch Unit Work?

Hydraulic winches use hydraulic power for pulling operations. The HV Hydraulic Winch utilizes a carrier machine’s hydraulic system as its power source, while the HVY Hydraulic Winch Unit features its own engine to drive the hydraulic pump and generate hydraulic power.

  • Hydraulic oil flows to the winch through the pressure line.
  • The hydraulic winch converts hydraulic oil flow and pressure into pulling force.
  • Hydraulic oil is returned to the system’s hydraulic oil tank via the return line.
