How the De-Icing Technology System Works And What Modules Can Be Included In It?
The DYNASET De-Icing Technology is powered by the carrier vehicle or machine, which provides the hydraulic power for the Automatic Hydraulic Spraying System. If the vehicle is not already equipped with a hydraulic power take-off (PTO), one can be installed.
When activated, the system’s pump sprays de-icing fluid or anti-freeze agent through optimized nozzles. The built-in monitoring system ensures that the amount of fluid sprayed is maintained at an optimal level automatically. The de-icing system consists of various modules, detailed below:
Power Take-Off (PTO)
The hydraulic power take-off converts the vehicle engine’s mechanical power into fluid power for hydraulic equipment. All vehicles can be equipped with a PTO and we have wide range of solutions available.
Automatic Hydraulic Spraying System
The spraying system features a high-pressure fluid pump that generates spraying power. Nozzle pipes and optimized spraying nozzles efficiently deliver fluid to the surface. The system automatically adjusts fluid consumption according to the vehicle’s speed, ensuring efficient operation. The operator manages the system via a user-friendly interface from the vehicle’s cabin.
Fluid Tanks
Our selection has a variety of fluid tanks tailored to customer and application requirements. Tank features may include:
- Suction filter
- 3” drain valve
- Maintenance bridge
- Two-level switches
- Level measurement sensor
Automatic Hydraulic Boom System
The hydraulic boom system includes a stabilizer and lift to maintain horizontal alignment during de-icing operations. The system accommodates various working widths, from a few meters to cover large runways and road surfaces. It automatically transitions between transport and working positions and is equipped with warning lights for safety.
