HPW-FIRE High Pressure Firefighting System

The DYNASET HPW-FIRE High Pressure Firefighting System has a large variety of products that use the mobile machine’s or vehicle’s hydraulic system as a power source.

The HPW-FIRE High Pressure Firefighting System utilizes the hydraulic power of mobile machines or vehicles to provide a versatile and highly efficient firefighting solution. This system includes a wide range of products such as special nozzles, pumps, piercing tools, and a flow multiplier, all designed to enhance fire suppression capabilities. With high-pressure water technology you can use small droplets to suppress fire ensuring safe, effective, and precise fire suppression while minimizing water damage.

Applications

  • High-pressure firefighting with small droplets to minimize water damage.
  • Remote and safe fire extinguishing using the FP Firefighting Piercing Kit and HPW Hydraulic High-Pressure Water Pumps.
  • Remote piercing of windows, light walls, and roofs with the FP Firefighting Piercing Kit.
  • Extinguishing and cooling confined spaces using the HAC Hydraulic Abrasive Cutting System and piercing nozzles through walls and doors.
  • Fast piercing of doors and light walls with high-pressure piercing nozzles as the nozzles can be used as a piercing tool.
  • High-pressure firefighting with a fog nozzle (droplet size between 10–100 μm and flow between 30–180 l/min).
  • Multiplying water flow from a fire hydrant with the Flow Multiplier (FM2)
  • Foam injection using a Foam Injector equipped with a metering system to control the amount of concentrate added to the water (0–6%).
  • Traditional low-pressure firefighting with the Hydraulic Low-Pressure Fire Pump

Key Benefits & Features

  • Safe and efficient firefighting with high-pressure water, effectively lowering the temperature of superheated gases to prevent backdrafts and limit water damage compared to low-pressure systems.
  • Piercing nozzles with robust construction, capable of penetrating windows, light walls, doors, and roofs for safe, remote extinguishing.
  • Mist nozzles create a fine mist cloud to cool down superheated gases effectively with minimal water usage.
  • Reduces water damage as small droplets are more efficient for cooling and extinguishing fires.
  • Foam injection capability with a foam injector for enhanced fire suppression.
  • Flow multiplier increases water flow when needed, providing adaptability in firefighting scenarios.
  • Compact-sized HPW Hydraulic High-Pressure Water Pump is integrated into rescue or firefighting vehicles or machines for seamless operation.
  • Fast and easy to use, ensuring rapid deployment during emergencies.
  • Water flow capacity: max 30–180 l/min (7.9–47.5 U.S. gpm).
  • Water pressure range: max 130–250 bar (1,900–3,600 psi).
  • Equipped with a pistol handle with a quick coupler for piercing, fog, or foam nozzle attachments.
  • Also, check the HAC Hydraulic Abrasive Cutting System, which can be used as a cutting extinguisher to extinguish flames through doors and light walls.

How Does the High Pressure Firefighting System Work?

DYNASET HPW-FIRE firefighting products operate exclusively using the hydraulic system of the base machine. They harness hydraulic power to create compact and efficient solutions for firefighting.

  • Hydraulic oil flow is directed to the hydraulic equipment through the pressure line.
  • The hydraulic equipment converts hydraulic oil flow and pressure into the required form. The High-Pressure Firefighting System can include high-pressure and low-pressure water pumps, hydraulic-powered piercing devices, flow multipliers, power intensifiers, HAC Hydraulic Abrasice Cutting system and HRU Hydraulic Rescue Unit.
  • The hydraulic oil is returned to the carrier machine’s hydraulic oil tank via the return line.
