How Does the Hydraulic Pressure Intensifier for Cylinder Work?
The power booster enhances cylinder pressure by utilizing the hydraulic power of the machine’s system. It operates in two phases, as demonstrated in its use with a concrete pulverizer:
Phase 1:
- In this phase, the jaw movement of the pulverizer operates at its default speed, allowing for fast positioning.
- High flow of 240 l/min at low pressure of 300 bar (aligned with the machine’s hydraulic system).
Phase 2:
- This phase activates when the pulverizer jaws begin crushing concrete, providing the additional force required.
- Working pressure is intensified to a high pressure of up to 700 bar with a low flow of 30 l/min.
Overall Result:
The pulverizer jaws move quickly outside of the crushing process and deliver significantly greater force during crushing, enhancing performance.
