KP.K Service, based in Central Ostrobothnia in Finland, specializes in the manufacture of sludge transfer trucks and automated sludge pumping stations. The company offers customized sludge logistics solutions supplemented with high-pressure water. 

The cooperation between Dynaset and KP.K Service started a couple of years ago, driven by a customer case. KP.K Service manufactured a slurry pumping station for a customer who requested the installation of hydraulics and a reservation for a pressure washer to be selected later. Shortly afterwards, at KoneAgria trade fair in Tampere, KP.K Service’s CEO Kyösti Isohanni and DYNASET’s Area Sales Manager Jari Vuorenmaa were working at opposite stands and started catching up. Vuorenmaa introduced DYNASET HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pumps to Isohanni, and the idea of cooperation was born. 

Now HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pumps and washing guns are installed in slurry trucks and pumping stations manufactured by the KP.K Service. The slurry pumping station is a motorized, self-contained, intelligent slurry spreading unit with ISOBUS system. Sludge can be fed into the system via a hose from a distance of up to two kilometers. As you might expect, the equipment gets dirty easily, which is why the pressure washer is an essential tool for cleaning. 

According to Isohanni, the cooperation with Dynaset has gone very well. Customers have also been pleased with the ease of use of the HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Washer. The washer can be used quickly and easily wherever it is needed, as it is always on board and powered by the hydraulics of the vehicle or pumping station. 

Plans for the future 

In the autumn, KP.K Service travels to Germany to exhibit slurry filling and draining pumps, and DYNASET will also send a washer to accompany the showcase. The aim is to export slurry truck equipment to Europe and explore the possibilities for components, filling pumps, intelligence and accessories. 

In the near future, KP.K Service will turn its attention to Finnish biogas plants, of which several are under construction. Large plants will require multiple vehicles and will demand high levels of hygiene for the transport equipment moving back and forth. However, with the HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pump, the slurry truck can be conveniently washed not only inside the tank but also outside, on the go. KP.K Service aims to keep up with the evolving biogas plant industry and develop its equipment to meet the growing needs of the industry.
