We’re Hiring Mechanical Engineering Team Leader

Are you an experienced mechanical engineering professional with the skills and motivation to lead people and contribute to bringing Finnish technological expertise to the global market? DYNASET Oy is the world’s leading manufacturer of hydraulic generators, power washers, and compressors. We are now looking for an energetic and skilled Team Leader to join our mechanical engineering team on a permanent basis in Ylöjärvi. In this role, you will lead a team of five experienced designers and play a key part in the success of our product development and customer projects, while also building smooth collaboration with other departments. 

What does the role include?

As a Team Leader, you will divide your time between supporting your team in both HR-related matters and work organization, as well as developing operations and participating in hands-on design work. You are responsible for ensuring that your team’s daily work runs smoothly, projects progress on schedule, quality remains high, and your team is able to support other DYNASET experts when needed. Your key responsibilities include: 

• Leading, resourcing, and coaching the mechanical design team in daily work 
• Continuously developing design processes and tools 
• Working closely with production, sales, and other product development teams
• Participating in mechanical and hydraulic design work based on your expertise

We are looking for a true team player who contributes both within their own team and across the entire DYNASET organization. You know how to listen, inspire, and support your experts to succeed. You have a structured yet people-oriented approach to leadership. We hope you have: 

• Experience in team leadership or a supervisory role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A relevant technical degree (e.g., M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering) and several years of experience in mechanical design
• Strong expertise in hydraulics and a solid understanding of hydraulic systems, including proficiency in drawings and tolerancing practices
• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English (within the team and with international partners)
• Experience with SolidWorks, Windchill PLM, and E3 software is considered an advantage
