No two days are the same at Dynaset’s After Sales department. As an After Sales Specialist, Kalle Vaskelainen solves customers’ technical challenges, provides guidance on product use, and helps find solutions when something on the job site isn’t working as planned. Behind his current role is nearly eight years of experience in Dynaset’s production and products.
“I started at Dynaset in May 2018, working in production with the larger HPW Hydraulic High Pressure Water Pumps. Since then, I’ve become familiar with various high pressure water pumps, street washing units, and special products, as well as logistics, and packaging.”
Now Kalle has taken the next step in his career and works as an After Sales Specialist.
“When a customer is satisfied with the product, customer service, and technical support, they’re likely to come back to us again.”
Before joining Dynaset, Kalle worked in a wide variety of jobs, from lawn mowing to construction, painting, and grinding concrete floors and staircases across Finland. After completing his military service, he also worked in production at a window factory. Hands-on work and manufacturing environments were therefore familiar to him long before Dynaset.
Over the years, his broad production experience at Dynaset has become a valuable foundation for his current role. As an After Sales Specialist, his days consist of responding to customer emails and phone calls, providing technical support, answering product-related questions, and handling spare parts sales.
“A customer might simply say that a pump isn’t working. Then we start figuring out what it does and what it doesn’t do. Once you can narrow down the problem, it’s much easier to decide what to try next.”
In addition to technical expertise, the job also requires strong people skills. Kalle describes himself as social, outgoing, and approachable. In customer service, one of the most valuable qualities has been the ability to understand a customer’s situation when equipment problems are causing frustration.
“If a customer has a technical issue that’s preventing them from working, I completely understand that it’s frustrating. Getting angry along with them doesn’t help. It’s better to understand the situation and focus on solving the problem.”
According to Kalle, a successful workday doesn’t necessarily mean that every issue has been fully resolved.
“When I leave for home at four o’clock, I’ve responded to everyone to the best of my knowledge. Even if an issue is still ongoing, the most important thing is that the customer knows we’re working on it.”
Well-managed After Sales service is also reflected in the company’s results. When customers receive quick assistance and feel that technical support is reliable, the positive experience builds trust for the future.

Kalle is committed to continuous learning in his work. At the same time, he is studying Mechanical Engineering at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) through a flexible, part-time study program. One of his biggest goals for the coming years is to complete his degree. In his career, he hopes above all to continue building a meaningful path where he keeps moving forward.
“I always want to do my best. And of course, it’s great if someone notices along the way that, ‘Hey, this guy actually knows what he’s doing!'”
Working together comes naturally to Kalle thanks to his long background in team sports. He has been involved in football both as a player and as a coach. The same mindset carries over into working life: the best results are rarely achieved alone.
“The best solutions don’t come from everyone working solo in their own corner. They come when different people bring their expertise together.”
At Dynaset, Kalle especially values the work community. Even after eight years, the biggest reasons he enjoys his work remain the same: It’s the people around him and the feeling that no one has to face difficult situations alone.
“We have really great colleagues here. We’re a close-knit team, and people genuinely help each other.”
Kalle also stays active outside of work. His hobbies include football, gym training, tennis, beach volley, and darts. To balance all the sports, he also enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching TV series and movies, and following sports. Football, American football, and Marvel movies are all good ways to relax on the couch.
And compared to work, the questions that arise in free time are usually quite different: who will score the winning goal, or which superhero will save the world this time?
