The FP Firefighting Piercing Kit utilizes a mobile machine’s hydraulic system to provide powerful piercing capability and high-pressure water mist for efficient fire extinguishing. Designed for remote operation, this kit is integrated into a bucket truck’s bucket or a rescue excavator’s boom, allowing firefighting teams to safely pierce through windows, walls, ceilings, and doors to suppress fires and drastically lower room temperatures. By reducing the temperature of superheated gases, it prevents backdrafts and enables a safe entrance for firefighters, making it an essential tool for challenging firefighting scenarios. The kit has robust piercer that is shot through the material and pulled back with a safety mist feature.

How Does the Firefighting Piercing Kit Work?

The FP Firefighting Piercing Kit uses a vehicle’s hydraulic system as its power source to produce high-pressure water and operate the piercing tool.

  • Hydraulic oil flows to the HPW Hydraulic High-Pressure Water Pump through the pressure line.
  • The HPW Hydraulic High-Pressure Water Pump converts the hydraulic oil flow and pressure into high-pressure water for fire extinguishing.
  • Hydraulic oil is returned to the vehicle’s hydraulic oil tank via the return line.
  • The vehicle’s hydraulic system also powers the piercing tool by utilizing its hydraulic oil flow and pressure.
  • The piercing head is launched through a wall or window, automatically spraying high-pressure water mist into the room to extinguish the fire and cooldown the gasses inside the room.
  • The system is controlled remotely for safe operation.
