The SCU Surface Cleaning Unit is designed for sites where the surface must be thoroughly washed and wastewater collected. The SCU product family is now expanded with a new model: SCU-250-1200-12 Surface Cleaning Unit, bringing the proven concept of high-pressure washing and water recovery into a more compact and lightweight size class.

The SCU250 Surface Cleaning Unit is a machine-mounted attachment that combines high-pressure washing and water recovery in one working phase. The new model is specifically designed for applications and machines where compact size, lower hydraulic requirements, and controlled washing are essential.
The SCU250 is particularly suitable for work machines in the two-ton class. The unit weighs 495 kg (1,093 lbs) and has a working width of 1200 mm (47.2 in), enabling surface cleaning even in locations where larger equipment is not practical or available. At the same time, machine owners can expand their service offering without investing in a separate street sweepers.
How It Works in Practice
The SCU250 Surface Cleaning Unit uses the work machine’s hydraulics as its power source and is based on the combination of high-pressure water washing and vacuum-based wastewater recovery. Washing is performed through a fixed washing nozzles solution that sprays high-pressure water directly onto the surface that needs cleaning. Unlike the SCU-220-1500 model, the SCU250 does not use rotating nozzles.
During operation, loosened dirt and water are collected in a closed system using vacuum, preventing water from spreading into the surrounding environment and enabling cleaning in areas where runoff is not allowed. The splash-protected structure supports controlled washing even in locations that cannot be closed during cleaning.

The SCU250 high-pressure water system has a maximum flow rate of 19 l/min (5.02 gpm) and a maximum pressure of 200 bar (2,901 psi). The unit requires 41 l/min (10.83 gpm) and up to 70 l/min (18.49 gpm) from the machine’s hydraulic system, making it compatible with smaller work machines.
The unit features a 240-liter (63.41 gal.) water tank, which theoretically enables approximately 12–13 minutes of continuous washing at maximum flow rate. Calculated at full working width and an operating speed of up to 5 km/h (3.1 mph), this corresponds to a theoretical maximum of approximately 1,260 m² (13,560 ft²) of cleaned surface per tank. Actual coverage depends on site conditions and the required cleaning level.
High-pressure water removes stubborn dirt and cleans deep into the surface structure. This differentiates the SCU250 from traditional brush machines, which primarily remove loose debris and surface dust. The SCU250 enables deep cleaning without mechanical brushing.
When Brushing Is Not Enough
Brush machines remove loose debris, but embedded dirt, dust, and oil residues require a more powerful cleaning solution. The SCU250 is designed specifically for these situations – when the surface must be thoroughly cleaned and wastewater collected in a controlled manner.
Controlled washing and water recovery allow operation in sites where cleaning areas cannot be closed or where environmental requirements are strict.

Typical Applications
The SCU250 Surface Cleaning Unit is particularly suitable for sites where water cannot be left on the surface:
- Parking garages and public squares
- Bus stops and terminals
- Shopping center outdoor and loading areas
- Industrial and logistics yards
- Entrance areas and semi-indoor spaces
Who Is the SCU250 For?
The SCU250 is designed especially for:
- Property maintenance
- Municipal applications
- Industrial and logistics sectors
- Equipment rental businesses
The new model allows machine owners to expand their services into surface cleaning without investing in a separate brush machine or specialized cleaning equipment.
Why Choose SCU250?
- Deep cleaning and wastewater recovery in one pass
- Splash-protected washing – no need to close the area
- Suitable for smaller work machines and confined spaces
- Finishing with a high-pressure washing gun
- One attachment, multiple applications
