Summer’s calling for the Dynaset crew – Summer break from June 24th to July 5th, 2024!

Just like every year, summer has chased away spring, and it’s time to soak up some sunshine and relax. This year, the Dynaset crew is taking a two-week summer vacation at the same time, starting right after Midsummer. Heads up, the DYNASET Factory will be quiet between June 24th and July 5th due to our summer shutdown. We are also off from the factory on the 21st, Midsummer Eve.

We caught up with some familiar Dynaset faces to hear about their summer plans. First up, HR Specialist Heli Laurila. How does she unwind on her summer break?

  • Gonna chill out for sure. When the weather’s nice on summer vacation, there’s nothing better than kicking back in a hammock with a good book or audiobook.

What kind of books is she into these days?

  • Lately, I’ve been leaning towards fiction, but I recently discovered audiobooks, and I prefer non-fiction for those. Also, classics are classics for a reason, so I keep revisiting Jane Austen’s books, and right now, I’m going through Bridgerton.

That’s the scoop from HR, but what about production? Shift Foreman and Assembly fitter Kalle Vaskelainen shared his summer plans:

  • Summer, for me, is all about hanging out with friends and watching live shows. Concerts are my jam, not so much the festival scene. Of course, celebrating Midsummer and hitting the beach are also on the agenda,” shared Kalle.

This year, almost everyone at Dynaset enjoys their summer vacation during the peak season for Finns – that means at least two weeks off after Midsummer. So what’s our CEO Anni Karppinen looking forward to this summer?

  • Lots of outdoor adventures, playtime at the park, swimming, and hopefully some trips too – maybe even abroad! Spending time with friends, good food, and good company. The details are still up in the air, but hopefully it’ll involve lots of relaxing with loved ones and soaking up the sunshine, summed up Anni.

The factory closed June 24th – July 5th, 2024 – don’t forget!

Just a reminder, like we mentioned before, our factory will be on summer break starting June 24th. After a two-week shutdown, we’ll be back in action on Monday, July 8th. Keep this in mind when placing orders. Our reseller network will operate according to their hours.
