Finance Coordinator Hanna Reinola keeps Dynaset’s day-to-day finances running smoothly. Around seven months into her role, she combines an eye for detail with practical problem-solving and an understanding of how the pieces fit together.
“My main task is to keep our day-to-day finances running smoothly and sort out any issues along the way, while making sure the figures end up where they should.”
Hanna’s main responsibilities include accounts receivable and payable, invoicing and payment-related matters. A typical day starts with routine work on receivables and payables, with the latter part often devoted to investigating and resolving queries. Her work also involves addressing financial and VAT questions related to international trade, resolving system issues and improving the company’s finance processes.
One thing about Hanna’s role may surprise people: she is not a bookkeeper.
“People often think financial administration means accounting, but the work covers so much more than that.”
Hanna focuses on the practical work that comes before information is entered into the accounts. She investigates discrepancies and checks that the information passed on is correct. By keeping customer and supplier accounts up to date and spotting problems early, she supports both Dynaset and its customers.
Although she works most closely with sales and purchasing, her role brings her into contact with colleagues across the company and a wide range of external stakeholders.
Small successes matter too
Questions and information sometimes arrive from several directions at once. Hanna has to assess what is most urgent and which issues have the greatest impact on the business as a whole. Part of the challenge is having the patience to work through one thing at a time.
One sign of a good day is an inbox with only a few emails left to deal with. To Hanna, that often means things have been handled properly and on time.
Not every success is a major problem solved or a development project completed. Hanna believes the routine tasks that get done each day deserve to be noticed too.
“It’s good to take note of the small successes each day and recognise the routine things that get done, rather than focus only on bigger, more demanding tasks or projects that can’t be finished in one go.”

A new career began with a knock on the door
Before moving into finance, Hanna had worked with horses and as a cleaner. Then, one spring day, she knocked on her employer’s door and offered to take on the company’s ledger work, despite having no experience in the role.
After a few tests, she was offered the job. That knock on the door set her on a new career path. Looking back, Hanna feels she has become more attentive to detail, better at seeing the bigger picture and more confident in tackling problems.
Hanna joined Dynaset from an accounting firm. Working in-house brings her closer to the business and helps her understand what lies behind the numbers. She hopes to build on that knowledge as she gets to know the company better.
“It’s great to work for a family business and see how it operates from the inside.”
Hanna has felt at home at Dynaset from the start and says she has settled in well with the team.
A connection to Dynaset found through motocross
Hanna’s first connection to Dynaset, however, came from a very different part of her life. She took her first motocross lessons at the former DYNASET Offroad Arena. Built on the factory grounds in 2007, it was Finland’s first indoor motocross hall.
Hanna has now been training and racing for 14 years and competes in the Finnish women’s championship series in both motocross and cross country. She still takes her training seriously and is keen to continue competing.
“You could say motocross has taken me from Ylöjärvi out into the wider world, too.”
The Dynaset name was part of Hanna’s life long before she took on her current role. For her, coming to work for the company she first knew through motocross feels like it was meant to be.
